The Macdonald – Early Pattern                                          (used at The Macdonald Hotel in downtown Edmonton)

  (note that this is not the usual "Macdonald" Pattern plate, which is similar but has different coloring 
   and a floral design.  This is also the only known example of a GTP back marked Hotel Macdonald plate.
   This is probably the first pattern used at the Hotel Macdonald and dating to near 1915, when it opened.)


Hampton Casino / Exeter, Hampton & Amesbury Street Ry.

Hotel Martinique            (a New York City landmark - 16 stories, at the corner of 32nd St and Broadway. Built between 1897 and 1911 in the Beaux Artes style, it is now part of the Radisson chain.

Hotel McAlpin            (once a New York City landmark - 15 stories, 1500 rooms at the corner of 34th St and Avenue of The Americas. It was home of the famed "Marine Grill" - "an expansive grotto of flowing, polychrome terra cotta". Claimed to be "one of the most memorable spaces in New York". It was built in 1912. The restaurant was closed in the 1940's, later re-open by other operators, and demolished in the late 1980's.)
