The summer of fun is a series of events organized by young adults of the Catholic community at Stanford for Catholic young adults in the San Francisco bay area.
We'll explore the historic SF neighborhood in the oldest urban street fair in the country. Come sample delicious food and see the traditional Blessing of the Animals at the Shrine of St. Francis of Assisi, http://www.northbeachfestival.comCarpools will be leaving from the Stanford area, place and time TBD.

Join us as we ride the Roaring Camp Railroads Beach Train from Felton through magnificent and arromatic Redwoods down to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. "The Tempest" at Cupertino's Memorial Park We'll get together for a picnic before enjoying Shakespeare's classic under the stars in Cupertino.
Spend a Sunday in the East Bay first at brunch at an authentic Thai Temple. Then watch some beautifully crafted kites over the Bay. The day wraps up with dinner at local favorite, Vic's Chaat House. Young Adults from around the country will gather in San Francisco in this conference sponsored by the San Francisco Diocese.
Join us as we embark on our annual adventure into the wine country on Saturday, August 12 from 7:30 am - 6:30 pm. This year we will be traveling to Napa Valley to taste wine (V. Sattui, Rutherford Grove, Beringer)and olive oil (St. Helena Olive Oil Company), and have an opportunity to attend a cooking demonstration at the Culinary Institute. We will be traveling by bus. Total cost for the day will be between $50-$65. We will be buying a lunch at the V. Sattui deli and we will return to Stanford by dinner time. Celebrate the Jazz Mass at the Cathedral in downtown San Jose. Then hear some famous musicians in one of the premier jazz festivals on the West Coast.
