John was born in Holland and grew up in Novato, California. He went to high school at San Marin High School and attended Sonoma State University where he received a bachelor's degree in Management and a Master's degree in Business Administration. He currently works as an analyst for Morrison Karsten Group, a real estate management firm located in Santa Rosa, California.
Amy was born in Carmichael, California and grew up in suburbs of St. Louis, Missouri. She attended Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois where she received a bachelor's degree in Modern Languages. As a part of her studies she spent one school year in France at the Université of Franche-Comté in Besançon. After college, she moved to California and is now working for Fair, Isaac & Company. Fair Isaac designs software for use by financial institutions in determining credit worthiness.
Eleanor was born in 1995 and Rachel in 2000. Eleanor currently attends Marguarite Hahn Elementary School in Rohnert Park and Rachel attends Rainbow Bridge Montessori School
John and Amy are members of the Sonoma County Bach Choir, a community choir dedicated to performing early music, primarily baroque, in an authentic style. The choir is part of the Sonoma County Choral Society.
We attend the Church of the Incarnation in Santa Rosa, California.
