Gurudas — I met Srila Prabhupada on January 17, 1967. I was initiated along with Yamuna Devi on April 7, 1967. I was a staff member of the Harlem Education Project. I received an A. A. degree — Race Relations & Sociology, at the New School for Social Research.
From 1967 to present I have been an ISKCON devotee with various services. I helped Srila Prabhupada with the beginning of the San Francisco Sri Sri Radha Govinda and Jagannatha Puri Temples. I was brought
by Srila Prabhupada to London, where I became temple president of 7 Bury Place, and managed and built the Krsna Balarama temple. At Srila Prabhupada's request I traveled and preached in civil-war-torn Northern Ireland, behind the iron curtain into communist countries such as Poland, Yugoslavia, Czechoslovakia, Romania and Bulgaria, as well as Lebanon in 1977. Since then I earned a B. A. degree in Psychology at the New College of California in 1986, and a certificate in Hypnotherapy in 1989 at the American Hypnotherapy Institute. From 1990 to present I am conducting Counseling and Hypnotherapy in my private practice. From1994 -1996 I was a Board member for Jazz for the Homeless, in 1999 a Staff member Administrator for Enchanted Hills-Lighthouse for the blind, and from 2000 -2003 Caminar/CLC- Job Counselor and Workshop facilitator. I continue with my private practice and I am now the Vice-president of the Buddhi Yoga Society Co-op organization to help my God Brothers and Sisters.
Yadunandana Pada Dasa — I am a disciple of Srila Prabhupada. I met Srila Prabhupada in 1972 and moved into the Brooklyn temple on june 31 of 1973. In the late 70's I was temple commander for the New Dvarka community and the production manager for FATE studios. I also have managed several Los Angeles Rathayatra festivals in the late 70's. In 1983 I opened
and managed the Seven Mother's Restaurant in San Francisco. In 1985 I pursued a career in advertising as an art director which led me to corporate management and creative management solutions. I spent 7 years at Home Box Office as a designer and systems management specialist and then 5 years as manager and creative director of Nokia Broadband Systems and several telecommunication subsidiary start ups. I hold several certificates for commercial art, advertising, design, telecommunications, video production, desktop publishing, web development, and recently I received a diploma for private investigation. I will be working on getting my private practice license within the next couple of years. I am now semi retired and disposed to the only devotional service for which I am qualified—to serve you with solutions for your health, welfare, happiness, and safety.
