East Alpine Road (Paved) Closure
The upper portion of paved Alpine Road in Portola Valley, San Mateo County,
California has been closed since early winter in 1998 with a chain link
fence, which seems to be getting more "improvements" than the
road. It now features a large, nasty, expensive looking, possibly non-standard
sign.

The fence has also been extended far to the side.

This isn't really a bicycling sight. If I get enough of them, I will start a
road closures page for road closures that affect bicyclists.
