Skyline Cycling Club, which is a social recreational club in the San Francisco South Bay Area, was founded in 1972. Our club motto is: "We ride to eat, we eat to ride". In addition to road and off-road bicycle rides, we have occasional hikes, ski trips, and other outings.
Our newsletter, The Spoken Word, is published every two months. We have bi-monthly planning parties, followed a couple of weeks later with a mailing party. Other fun activities include winter movie nights, pizza parties, summer barbeques, the annual fall "Munch-a-Long" progressive dinner, and a Holiday Party/gift swap.
We have weekend activities throughout the year. From April-September, we host the popular Wednesday Night Rides, which start at 6 pm and change locations every month. We also host the Not Just For Novices rides at 9:30 on Saturday mornings for most of the year.
Non-members are welcome on most of our rides, but must sign a liability release. All participants must be at least 18 years old, or accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
