Meet at Olympic Pizza in the Argonaut Shopping Center on Saratoga Sunnyvale
Road between Pierce and Blauer in Saratoga. This will be a training ride but
not silly. We go at an M pace (14/16 mph on the flat) , regroup at the tops
of hills and talk to each other. On occasion, if every one feels lousy, we
might even just spin miles that night. But, I am sure that if someone has a
specific hill in mind, we can accommodate. Triples are recommended. Ride
rolls at 6:00 PM sharp. Wet Pavement cancels. This is co-listed with Almaden
CTC. CALL JC TO CONFIRM.

J C Henderson h(408)996-3080 or w(408) 285-0605
mejc@flash.net or jc.henderson@compaq.com

It's time again for an Angle Island ride. Take the visitor's turn off (to
the right) just before the Golden Gate Bridge toll plaza and sweep right till
you reach Lincoln Ave (dead end), make a left and go about 100 ft. Turn left
into the dirt parking lot (no meters). We will roll across the bridge, down
through Sausalito, out the bike path and on to Tiburon. Bring money for the
ferry to Angel Island. We should arrive in Tiburon about 10 minutes before
the ferry leaves and, after circling the island, there will be 20 to 30
minutes for a hot dog before catching the ferry back. This means that the
ride will leave at 9:00 and roll at a 'M' pace. Only real hills are the
climbs up to the path from the ferry and back up to the Golden Gate. Riders
are welcome to go at their own pace (ride sheets provided), but the main body
will roll at a moderate pace. Helmets required.
