November 6 is Munch-a-long time starting at Ken’s. Hopefully La Nina will
sprinkle us with golden sunshine this year instead of rain. Also on the
calendar are the Day- After-Thanksgiving Party on November 26 at Anne &
Pat’s, Skyline Christmas party at Ginger’s on December 4 and the Y2K Party
at Anne & Pat’s on December 31.

This is a series of leisurely rides aimed at the novice rider with an
emphasis on skills and techniques. A slightly harder/longer loop will be
available for the more advanced rider or as a goal to shoot for the beginning
rider. Meet near the 24 Hour Nautilus in the Quito Village Shopping Center
on Cox between Saratoga Avenue and Quito Road. Stay for snacks, questions,
answers (maybe) and general social amenities after the ride. Bring money for
snacks. Route sheets provided for all rides. HELMETS REQUIRED, RAIN OR WET
ROADS CANCELS THE RIDE.

Brotherhood Way. Cross the Golden Gate Bridge, ride the bike paths of Marin
then over to Paradise Cove Drive and into Tiburon for lunch and whatever
wanderings desired. Return via Belvedere and Sausalito. Bring a lock, $$
for lunch and maybe a snack in case lunch is late. Optional alternate

Take a last ride up Mt. Hamilton before the snow falls...or at least before
it gets too cold. Meet at Togo's at Morrill and Landess in San Jose. We'll
ride up to the top of Mt. Hamilton. Depending on weather and the general
consensus of riders, there may be a group that continues down the backside of
Mt. Hamilton. There will definitely be one ride leader that turns around at

ride has easy and hard options with three very important stops. The first is
for hors d'oeuvres and drinks, the second for the salad course and the final

contribution and your entree choice (Skyline provided) of chicken (white or
dark), salmon or steak. It just isn’t going to rain this day but on that
