FSV Union Fürstenwalde

A small club with about 250 members in the city of Fürstenwalde, about 30 km southeast of Berlin in the Spreewald. The seperate soccer club was founded in 1990 out of the older BSG Pneumant Fuerstenwalde, and "Wacker" was added in 1996 to become FSV Wacker. Wacker merged with SG Union in 2002 to become FSV Union .

After regaining 5th division status in 1998, the club struggled to stay up. They barely managed to survive on goal difference to start the new milenium.
