Türkiyemspor Berlin

This club was founded in 1978 by the large Turkish community in Berlin. Originally it was created by immigrants from Izmir, and was known as BFC Izmirspor, but became more general "Turkish" in 1985.

Obviously most of the players are Turkish or Turkish descent, but thre are a few non-Turks, including Germans, that have played.

Originally they played at the Katzenbachstadion, capacity: 5,000, but in 1994 they moved to the larger facility.

Supporters Turkish community of Berlin. Averaged 155 in 2004 (Oberliga). In the early 90s they would draw around 1,000.
