Cazadores was founded in 1973 by the Banuelos family. They built a ultra-modern facility outside Arandas to essentially take advantage of a high-tech production approach to tequila. The combination of decent tequila with aggressive marketing and pricing has turned this into a major winner, at least in the Mexican market.

The Brands:

Cazadores Reposado
This has quickly become one of the best selling reposado tequilas in Mexico. Using the state-of-the-art facilities, Cazadores has produced a quality reposado aged some 70 days.

Slightly sweet, and not as smooth as a Herradura, it has a moderately long finish with a slight pepper hint. Recommended as a decent drinking tequila when you don't want to bring out the Herradura.
