Regionalliga West-Südwest

26th Round , 20-22 Mar 1998

A disappointing home loss for WSV, which continues to disappoint. The followers had excellent results this week. Kaiserslautern's amateurs were the exception, as they were stunned 1-4 at home against the preseason favorite from Ahlen. This was perhaps the first time Ahlen actually lived up to their billing. Homburg, with a tough road win, and Trier and Saarbruecken, with impressive home wipeouts, jump over FCK. In addition, Siegen struggled, but was able to bring home the bacon from Teveren.
