My "bike page" was created on October 12, 1996 and has gone through 3 major revisions. Anyone who has built a web site knows how time consuming it can be, but it is also fun to get email from folks around the world with similar interests. This site was built using the following: Apple Powerbook G4 1.67mhz, 512mb RAM, 30GB hard drive, DVD/CD-R/RW drive. Adobe GoLive HTML page layout and site management Adobe Photoshop CS2 - graphics, photo manipulation, java script rollovers for site navigation. Can not rave enough about Adobe Photoshop. There is a steep learning curve but well worth the effort. The integration between Photoshop and GoLive makes life a lot easier. I used Photoshop to create the "panorama" photos from 3-4 regular images. Each image was placed on a layer and then carefully aligned with it's ajoining images. I then made adjustments to brightness and contrast so that each layer had the same exposure. Next I used a layer mask and the pen tool to make the seams invisible. Finally, I croped the final image to size. Digital Camera - Canon DLSR's see keithflood.com for some of my other work. Some other sites that I have created: keithflood.com & SRFF.ORG, If you have any questions about this site or how it was created, drop me a note. |
