Junior Humanities was a two period class which integrated
American Literature and U.S. History. Students received 10 credits in English
and 10 credits in Social Studies for successfully completing the year long
course. Since Piner High School returned to traditional, isolated
English and history classes in the fall of 2001, this curriculum has not
been offered, but I am leaving it on the web as a resource for other teachers,
