Lake No Bottom by Michael Weller

A brilliantly funny and tense romantic comedy. Ruben, a literary critic, and his wife, Petra, have retired early to an idyllic New England lake. Their weekend visitor, Will, a promising novelist whose work was discovered by Ruben, has recently published a kiss-and-tell, trashy best-seller. Ostensibly, Will, is stopping by on his way to a lecture at a nearby college. In fact, he has come to see Petra. A dangerous hunt ensues, both figuratively and literally, through the woods of Lake No Bottom. ( Recommended for adults.)
