Okay, you've got the front brakes under control.  What about the rears?  Want to put some disks back there?  Want to get the parts off a 79-83 280ZX?  You're in luck!

Thanks to Tom Higgins
I am installing the ZX rear disks on my '71 240.  I got the required
bracket for mounting the caliper (i.e. replaces the drum brake backing
plate) from Z-Quip Race Products in Newnan, GA.  The phone number for them
that I was able to find with only a little looking is (404)253-4356.  (I
did have some trouble reaching them, because Eric (?) has moved.  I will
check on Monday to see if I have a different number in my office at work.)
This conversion is also covered in the first issue of Z-Car Magazine.

I think the steel brackets from Z-Quip are probable fine for my current use
and the price was OK.  I do think that I may design my own aluminum
brackets later, but that will wait until I finish some of my other
upgrades.  (Aluminum brackets only to go with Brembo or Willwood aluminum
calipers to reduce unsprung weight, if I go that far.)
