After owning this little guy for about five months, I got the bug for more power.  After much soul searching, I decided to just buy a 2000.

So, now we've got two roadsters - as far as my wife is concerned, that's a no-no.  Too bad, because this is really a sweet little car.

The previous owner had it for a few years, during which time he had the engine and carburetors rebuilt and bought new front tires.  Too bad he didn't get some rears, too, because they're just about worn out.

It's got fenders and hood from a 69 or 70 car, giving it a more muscular look than many early roadsters.  The new front end is evidently courtesy of the car's salvage title.  Additionally, the body shop that did the work had to partially cut the frame in the process.  Unfortunately, they didn't re-weld it, so the frame still has a partial cut at the front bumper mount.  I was concerned about this at first, but upon measuring the frame and suspension, I determined that there's no problems resulting from this.  Whew!

Overall, this car is in great shape; the interior has been redone in black leather, the top is really nice (after I got a new top frame for it), and it's got some very rare composite wheels.  The brake hoses and shocks have been replaced, the paint has been buffed out, the heating and vent system has been gone through, stuff of that nature.  This car runs like a dream - definately a dynamite daily driver.
