Royce
Dam has been tying flies for fifty-one years. Royce has helped many tiers
and fly fisher over the last several decades, not only tying the flies,
but fly- fishing them as well. Royce has taught Fly Casting at Gary
Borgers Fly-fishing schools for eighteen years. He proudly provided his
fly tying expertise across the United States and throughout the world,
including Kenya, China, and Bhutan. He regularly attends The Federation of
Fly Fishers International Conclaves, and has been invited to the Fly Fair
in Holland.
Royce has received many awards
for his fly-tying abilities and support of the mission of the FFF, Trout
Unlimited, including Friend of the Southern Council FFF (1988) and
Contributing Artisan Achievement Award, Great Lakes Council FFF (1992). He
is also a recipient of the Federation of Fly Fishers annual Buz Buszek
Memorial Fly-Tying Award (1994).
Royce brings a new look at an ancient art form. TyGer Leader proudly
