My fishing season is just starting. I am focusing on line class records this year for musky, northern, bass & trout on a fly rod, of course using TyGer leader for my tippet.

Opening weekend, I helped guide in the Governor's fishing opener on Lake Namakgaon up in Cable, Wisconsin , both Saturday and Sunday. I enjoyed my client Philip Larson, his was a free lance writer from Boone , Iowa . We started out on walleyes getting short hits, then bit off. I then showed him how tyger leader stops bite off using 5# test. He got a northern on Saturday and two more on Sunday.

My first tournament this year is a local northern tournament, mid may. Live bait as well as fly rods on the chippewa flowage. My partner will be Tom Greenup who owns Ashegon Lake Resort.

I will be heading up to Superior and Duluth fly shop this month, showing how I use TyGer leader for fly fishing.

Fishing for walleyes this weekend and should find out more what this spring is like.
