LED Enhanced Pedestrian Crossing Symbol Sign It is recommended that a standard diamond-shaped pedestrian crossing sign with active LED warning lights at the "enhanced" flash rate is installed with each System. The LED light modules are designed to flash in conjunction with activation of the System. This sign enhances driver recognition and education to the System's presence, especially in adverse weather conditions.

Any advance warning signs should be consistent with color of other signs.

NOTE: This LED enhanced sign should only be used in conjunction with an in-roadway LightGuard Systems installation.
Stand alone flashing operation use is currently prohibited.
