Here is some work from classes I have taken:

a CSS class
a JavaScript class
the beginnings of a web multimedia class I started taking (first assignments were only images, later were getting into Flash, sound and video)
the first assignment from an advanced XML class (view in Internet Explorer - requires XSLT processor)

I've also taken introductory courses in PHP/MySQL, Oracle SQL, Linux system administration, shell scripting (bash), Perl, and the first year of object-oriented Java programming (through data structures).

I have professional experience with layout of financial documents (IPOs, annual reports, etc.) using a custom typesetting system to target print and HTML simultaneously from a single source, designing forms in Excel and FileMaker, developing relational FileMaker databases, bookkeeping, and more.
