Gum
There is none in my class or at school.

Reports
At the beginning of the year, you will be given due dates (to be posted on this site) for all the book reports you will hand in this school year. You may hand in book reports early, but I DO NOT ACCEPT LATE BOOK REPORTS (unless you were absent on the due date). Since you have months in which to finish your reports, I do not and will not accept late work. Didn't do it? Wasted your time? Oh, well. Now you have an "F" to explain to mom and dad.
The same goes for all other reports.

Please pay attention to all instructions given. If you have questions, ask! However, if you ask the day before the report is due, I may not be so supportive. Last year, I had a student turn in a Civil War Archives Project on -get this- the Mexican War. Obviously, someone was asleep at the wheel. (You should have heard the teachers cracking up in the lunchroom when I told them!) Don't let this happen to you!

Papers
All papers must be turned in typewritten and error free. Give yourself enough time to not only write the paper, but to type it up.

Gum
Did I mention there is no gum in my class or at school?

Grades
A=90%-100%
B=80%-89%
C=70%-79%
D=60%-69%
F=Why even bother to ask?

Keep all papers and assignments at least through the trimester and until you get your report card. Sorry, but even teachers are human and we sometimes make mistakes entering all those numbers into the computer. If you have a concern about your grade or if it is your contention that I did not correctly enter a grade, you must prove it to me by showing me the assignment. If you no longer have the assignment/paper in question, I will not change the grade, no matter how much you plead with me, cry, beg, throw a temper tantrum, etc. It's called the school of hard knocks. Sorry kid.

Gum
Did you catch the no gum thing?
