Many big women love horses and would like to ride, but are concerned about riding a small or average-sized horse. Some are out of shape, and don't think they could pull themselves up into the saddle. Still others are self conscious, and unwilling to appear at a dude ranch where they may find a sign posted saying: 'No Riders Over 200 Pounds, Please'
Juno's Stables is different We ride big strong horses: some are draft horses who can easily carry over 350 pounds. We understand that not everyone can leap onto a horse's back, so we provide stairs and a platform to make mounting a horse as easy as getting on a bicycle. And as women of size, we understand and are sensitive to the concerns of large, nervous, or out-of-shape riders.
