Pulled the steering column drop mount out.  It is constructed of two main parts. A steel structural mount and a stainless steel dress cover.  The bar graph display PCB is mounted on the backside of this mount.
Here is the PCB getting ready for mounting on the back side of the steering column mount..
The crown of the LEDs protrude though the stainless dress panel.  In the bottom picture the mount with the display have found their final home.
