I had to relocate the alternator to clear the fuel lines.  This caused the belt driving it to hit the lower intake hose to the water pump.  To fix this problem I built an idler wheel that forced the belt closer in towards the water pump pulley.  It all started with a chunk of aluminum.
After several hours of machining it started to take form. 
I mounted it on the alternator bracket. The idea was to push the belt in to clear the water pump inlet hose.
