The first series here just shows some of the modifications made to a 6" PVC pipe coupler.  The thermistor mounting hole and some relief's to clear the air cleaner mounting can be seen.  The relief's were necessary because the air cleaner base is bolted to the top of the air valve.  Just too much stuff mounted to it to let it just sit there on its own (kind of heavy).
Here you can see the brace that holds the whole thing together.
Finally made it onto the car.  On the right side of this picture you can see a small vertical bracket.  This is where the sensor was mounted the second time at the rear of the air cleaner assembly.
