Welcome to Lively Whisper Art, a multi-disciplinary fine art studio. Tom Berto uses acrylic paint, airbrush, and conventional brush painting techniques to create his photorealist paintings. Monica Boettcher uses a kiln, specialty art glass, and a multitude of glass finishing processes to create her panels and vessels. August 16, 2008 Open House and Art Sale Monica will be showing her glass jewelry and tableware at the home of David and Martha Saly. David's handcrafted hardwood jewelry boxes and salt cellars will also be featured. Saturday 11am-3pm, at 99 Alden Avenue in Rohnert Park
September 2008 Print Display Tom will have his prints on display at Sawyer's News, Fourth St. Santa Rosa
September 27&28 2008 Art on the Ridge Tom and Monica will participate in this open studio event, hosted by Heartfire jewelry and glass, on Bennet Ridge in Santa Rosa. Saturday and Sunday, noon-5pm
October 11&12, 18&19 Art Trails Open Studios Tom will be showing new paintings at his home studio Save the Dates

January 27, February 3& 10, 2009 Fused Glass Tableware 1 Explore glass fusing, a new and growing area of fine craft. This beginning class is a great way to try fusing, get expert instruction, and make two dishes. (materials provided). It is offered on Tuesday evenings from 6pm-8:30pm, through Santa Rosa Parks and Recreation. Thursdays, 6-9pm Fused Glass Studio This class sesion is for all levels of instruction, and may be attended on a drop-in basis (space permitting). There is a short discussion at the beginning of class, followed by 2:45 studio time. You have access to many molds, three large kilns, grinders, and other tools.
