Lively Whisper Art

Welcome to Lively Whisper Art, a multi-disciplinary fine art studio. Tom Berto uses acrylic paint, airbrush, and conventional brush painting techniques to create his photorealist paintings. Monica Boettcher uses a kiln, specialty art glass, and a multitude of glass finishing processes to create her panels and vessels. Art at the Source Open Studios
Tom and Monica will be showing their work at the studio of Sheila O'Brien in Sebastopol. Tom will have three new prints and Monica will be showing some new work in cast glass. View the on-line catalog

Art on the Ridge
Tom and Monica will participate in this open studio event, hosted by Heartfire jewelry and glass, at 2728 Rollo Rd in Santa Rosa. Saturday and Sunday, noon-5pm. Nine studio locations, 17 artists displaying.

Kiln Formed Glass Classes

Thursdays, 6-9pm
Fused Glass Studio
This class sesion is for all levels of instruction, and may be attended on a drop-in basis (space permitting). There is a short discussion at the beginning of class, followed by 2:45 studio time. You have access to many molds, three large kilns, grinders, and other tools. It s held at Creative Ceramics and Glass, off Airport Blvd. in Santa Rosa. Call Mike to enroll. 707-545-0760

Fused Glass Tableware 1
Explore glass fusing, a new and growing area of fine craft. This beginning class is a great way to try fusing, get expert instruction, and make two dishes. (materials provided). Return students welcome. It is offered on Tuesday evenings from 6pm-8:30pm, through Santa Rosa Parks and Recreation.
