Dawn at Chac Mool Rock
|
|
2007 20 x 30" From Marin County Open Space. This rock formation and tree are on a west-facing slope. On this particular morning, the sun had risen on the fog in the background, but the rock was still in the blue shadows. Wildflowers and grasses can just be picked out in the foreground. The tallest rock is U-shaped, and my mother named it "Chac Mool Rock" as it resembles the Chac Mool statues of the Toltec and Maya. Collection of the artist. Giclee prints available: image sizes are: 17 x 25 1/2" (85%) and 10 x 15"(50%) |
