This cache had been looted a few months back, but the view is stunning.
This structure is a mystery to me. It's most likely part of the old system of
artillery bunkers that were put on the Marin headlands early in the 20th
century, but I don't know what purpose this would have served. That's my
favorite walking stick leaning against it.
This little pipe looked so lonely sticking up out of the ground.
A lovely view of the GG Bridge. Can you spot Fort Point?
Looking out toward the pacific ocean. I'm stumped.. I want to know what
that little radar station is doing there.
A view nearly due west from the cache. The little white island caught
my eye.
It takes a skinnier person that I to get into that crack.
Clear on through to the other side...
WWII artillery bunker
A view all the way around from the bunker.
Another view of the bridge with the City behind.
What a place to hide a cache. Except that 100's of people a day tromp
through it.
Now where's that howitzer.. it was here a minute ago.
I just liked the interplay of light and shadow on the stairs
Cataract Waterfall Cache
I didn't make it all the way to the top, but this was beautiful and
close to the trailhead.
