Rachel Caamano was just 9 years old when she died.
Her mother shot her to death, to shield her from what she
perceived as the end of the world.
Synthia Lynne Caamano, 33 years old,
then committed suicide by shooting herself.
Before this tragedy happened, she had
sought help from several local mental health agencies, but she was
turned away because her insurance wasn't accepted.
