Oklahoma, December 2003: A hunter found Carolyn Simpson's body in a field near Lamar, Oklahoma. She had been shot in the head by an acquaintance named Effie Goodson, who took the six-month fetus from her womb and claimed it as her own.

Surprisingly, in most of these cases, the child survives -- but not in this one. Carolyn's child died, and Goodson has been charged with two murders.
