Alabama, February 1996: Carethia Curry was shot twice in the head, after (after!) her stomach had been cut open and her baby removed.
Felicia Scott, alias Felicia Burton, alias Felicia Polion, was charged with the crime, along with her boyfriend Fred Polion and her sister Angela Burton (an accessory after the fact).
The two "pregnant" women (Curry and Scott) had gone out to eat pizza together. When Scott returned, she claimed to have dropped Curry off at home. Curry, however, was never seen alive again. Scott (who had had a hysterectomy) claimed the baby as her own, but Curry's mother's suspicions were aroused, and she notified police.
