Toni Jo Henry

In an effort to get her husband out of jail, Toni car-jacked a man, 
ordered him to undress at gunpoint (she wanted his clothes for her
husband after the jailbreak), then put him in the trunk of his own
car, drove him out into the country, got him out, ordered him to 
kneal and "say his prayers", then calmly shot him in the head.

She confessed to the police, but even after she gave them the
murder weapon, they didn't want to believe her.  She had to lead
them to the body before they would believe that she had committed
murder.
