Christene Kemmerlin

NORTH CAROLINA: 

Accused hit man William Antone Johnson will stand trial Tuesday, charged 
with accepting $150 to kill a Reidsville man in 1999. 

The murder trial will be the second spawned by the shooting death of 
Wayne Kemmerlin on March 24, 1999. His wife, Christene Kemmerlin, was 
sentenced to death in October for organizing the murder.

Kemmerlin had a brief affair with Johnson before the murder. It was her 
second affair during a 6-month search for a hit man to kill her husband.
