Sharon Kinne

SYNOPSIS: March 19, 1960. A sheriff's deputy in Independence,
Missouri was summoned by a distraught 20-year-old woman named
Sharon Kinne. The deputy found Kinne's husband dead of a gunshot
wound to the head. Authorities initially believed Kinne when
she told them it was a tragic accident. She explained that her
two-year-old daughter was responsible for accidentally shooting
her own father. Kinne collected on an insurance policy and
proceeded to buy a new sports car and take up with a married man.
When the wife of this married boyfriend was found murdered in a
similar fashion, Sharon Kinne became the prime suspects in both deaths.

Ultimately, Kinne was convicted of her husband's murder and
served one year of her sentence before a mistrial was declared.
While awaiting retrial, she met a man named Frank Pugliese.
They decided to get married and went to Mexico. While there,
Kinne claims she was attacked by a man named Francisco Parades
Ordonez, who was supposedly helping her when she was ill.
[They were in a motel together]. She shot him in the heart.
She claimed self-defense [also shot the motel manager while
trying to escape], but was convicted and received 13 years in prison.

On December 7, 1969, Kinne escaped from a Mexican jail and has
not been seen since. Today, Sharon Kinne would be 61 years old.
