Gaile Owens 

She was convicted of hiring Sidney Porterfield to murder her husband, 
Ronald Owens, who was beaten to death Feb. 17, 1985, at the home he 
shared with his wife and two sons in Bartlett, a Memphis suburb. 
Porterfield also is sentenced to death.
