The little girl had told the foster mothers fiancé that she was having a romantic relationship with another man.
After beating her, little Jacqueline then ran into the bathroom and fell into a bucket of scalding water in the bathtub. Her foster mother then removed Jacqueline from the tub and applied ointment to her burns. She then ran to get some ice, when she returned Jacqueline was unconscious. She tried to revive her, but she was incoherent, she spit up, and laid back down. When she checked on Jacqueline about half an hour later little Jacqueline wasn't breathing. She was cold and stiff .She and her fiancé then tossed little Jacqueline body over a bridge into the water.
Lisa Price, 35 years old, is being held for trial without bail on murder, child endangerment, and abuse-of-corpse charges. Her fiancé Ed Jones, is awaiting a preliminary hearing on abuse-of-corpse charges.
