Single Band Amplifiers - 2m and 70cm Power and Preamplifiers for the TRansverter

This photo shows both a 70cm and a 2m version of the Transverter amplifier project.  In the center is a completed PCB, as it would be received from JLCPCB, except for the
addition of the RF Power module which must be assembled and soldered.  Additionally, a 25mm x 45mm heat sink must be drilled and tapped for 3mm screws prior to
placing the finished assembly inside the enclosure with front and back panels added. 

 



Features

  •     5-10 Watt linear output on a single VHF or UHF band
  •     Supply 10-14 VDC
  •    70cm version has SAW filter for receive path
  •  Connections:

    • SMA: Output to Antenna
    • +4 - 10 dBm  Tx Input from TRansverter
    • RX Output to TRansverter
    • ~-40 dB TX output sample for PureSignal linearization
    • 2.1mm power barrel connector
  • Multi-colored LED indicates functions
  • Four-layer,  through-hole plated, silk-screen printed PCBs
  • Aluminum enclosure

Complete KiCad files are provided as a .zip.    These include both schematic and PCB layout for use
with KiCad as well as a Production directory which has 'binary' files that may be dropped on the
JLCPCB website to order a completely assembled PCB.  Files for front and rear panels design and
production are also provided.

A minimum of  5 bare PCBs of which 2 or more can be assembled are required.
