Relationship Coaching

“The marriage commitment is astonishing! It always turns out to be more than we expected and much more than we bargained for.”

New partners often idealize each other in ways no one could live up to. This can play out in any number of misunderstanding over everything from how birthdays are celebrated to who sets the table for dinner. The events themselves are minor, but the emotions run deep, and spark painful disagreements. Fighting one on the real sticker shocks of relationships. We don’t expect to fight with our partners.

Your marriage is your most cherished relationship. Like all living things, it needs care and attention to keep it growing in deeper and more exciting ways. The challenge for many couples is to find ways to resolve certain issues that inevitable arise. The successful resolution of such issues almost always leads to a better understanding of each other and can result in discovering new and unanticipated directions in your life journey.

I offer 2 approaches to working with couples. As a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach with the Coaching Training Institute of San Rafael Ca., we work together exploring your vision for your relationship with each other and your life’s dreams. Typically, we work 2 or 3 times a month for a minimum of three months.

The second approach is more structured. I am trained to offer the Prepare/Enrich program where you each complete (independently of each other) a 165 item questionnaire which is sent (anonymously) to Program Headquarters for summarization into a report used for counseling. We than have two to three feedback sessions. Additional information is available at www.lifeinnovations.com.
