We will cover topics of interest to the Mac beginner such as computer
jargon, organizing your hard drive, Internet & email, finding software
for the Mac, printer issues, using AppleWorks, routine maintenance and
tips and tricks. All Mac OS's from 8 to X and classic will be discussed.
The class is ongoing and you can join the class at any time.

Participants will learn how to search the Internet and genealogical
libraries like the Santa Rosa Library Annex and the LDS Family History
Center to find ancestors and living relatives from any country; from Iceland
to Africa, China to England, Native Indian, American pioneer, etc.
There will be speakers and field trips and lots of fun searching out our
roots.
We will be using Reunion software from http://www.leisterpro.com but will not require this program.

For members interested in working with old movies, videos, pictures, etc. to put on DVDs. Bring information you know about making DVDs, or questions you may have. We will brainstorm with each other, and help each other. If there is an expert out there that would like to help us, you are welcome too. Studio is in downstairs door in driveway.
