Charles King, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist with a private practice of
psychotherapy and clinical consultation in Berkeley, California. He specializes in sexual issues, including helping those who suffer with compulsive sexual behavior. He serves straight, bisexual, and gay individuals and couples.

Dr. King completed his doctorate in clinical psychology at UCLA, with a dissertation investigating factors that influence satisfaction in marriage. He has over 15 years of clinical experience with children, adults, and families, including service in various community agencies and 8 years in outpatient psychiatry at a Kaiser Permanente Medical Center. He is a member of the American Psychological Association and the National Council on Sexual Addiction and Compulsivity.

I have extensive experience in effectively integrating psychotherapy with participation in 12-step programs."
