Tetromicra canaliculata

A somewhat curuious plant with semi-terete leaves that tend to ramble yet stay confined to its mount. Throws a very long spike terminating in small pink flowers that bloom sequentially for months. Likes intermediate temperature with moderate to bright light. Will tolerate dry periods (although does not need a winter rest). Mounted FS.... $24
Thunia Gattonensis 'Adagent' AM/AOS

Cluster of starry white flowers with cranberry-rose lips sit atop tall stems. Dies back in late fall and bursts forth with new growth in spring. Vigorous growths.

Trichocentrum pulchrum

Lives up to its species name which means beautiful in Latin. Small plant with large flower. Grows mounted or potted. Prefers intermediate to cool temperatures with moderate to bright light. Very fragrant! Another must for the gourmet miniature collector. In 2" pots FS.... $30
Trichoglottis philippinensis

From the Philippines comes this attractive, mildly fragrant orchid. All the flowers open within a day or two of each other. A well grown plant provides a burst of flowers all over the bracts. Blooms fall through winter. Prefers warm temperatures with bright light.

Trichopilia fragrans

A wonderfully fragrant species that is a frequent floomer. Medium size plant produces 10" - 12" spikes. Likes it on the cool side with moderate light. Easy grower.

A most interesting species producing a single flower on a long, slender inflorescence. Likes intermediate temperatures with moderate light. Not found in many collections. An easy grower! Be the first on your block with one of these.

Trisetella hoejerii

Miniature plant from Ecuador produces large, white, bird-like flower with a red stripe (not really discernable in this photo) on its "wings". Likes it on the cool side with abundant water and moderate light. Blooms several times throughout the year.

Trisetella pantex

A very miniature plant from Ecuador. Produces a large flower (for the plant size) and blooms often throught the year. Fits easily in the palm of your hand. Likes it on the cool side with abundant water and moderate light. Should never be allowed to dry out completely.A real cutie.

Trisetella sororia

Another plant that fits easily in the palm of your hand. The flower is about three times the size of the plant itself. Very striking and draws comments from people. Comes from Ecuador. Likes it on the cool side with abundant water and moderate light. Should never be allowed to dry out completely.

Vanda parviflora
A brilliantly colored Old World species stays compact and produces many nice flowers per spike. Plant is about 8" tall. Grows warm with bright light.

Zootrophion dayanum
Found in the Andes of northern South America, this unusual genus is not found in many collections. The flowers are rather box-like in shape. There are slits on either side that open just enough to allow entry by the pollinator. This dark, maroon spotted variety is an unusual color form - the standard being much lighter with yellow on the interior. Interesting leaves in that the top is green and the underleaf is a dark purple. An easy grower in intermediate to cool temperatures with moderate to low light.

Zygopetalum Imagination
An interesting hybrid in that no two seem to have the same pattern on the flowers. Plant is HIGHLY fragrant until around 4:30. (In its natural habitat this is about the time its pollinator returns to the hive.) Blooms on new growth. Treat like a cymbidium, i.e., best grown outdoors (protected) until temp nears freezing. Good light without direct sun. Can be brought indoors when blooming. Flowers last about three months..
