Noted Eco-geologian Brian Swimme says of this series: "Connie and Michael Dowd are gifted troubadours who celebrate the new evolutionary epic." • Peace Pole re-dedication at the Peace Park in Ragel park, 12:00 noon. Potluck lunch to follow in the gazebo. The Peace Pole project was founded in Japan in 1955 by Mashes Going, as the World Peace Society. It is a nonprofit organization dedicated to uniting people across the world through the universal saying: "MAY PEACE PREVAIL ON EARTH." To date, more than 200,000 Peace Poles have been dedicated in over 190 countries around the world. Peace Poles can be found in town squares, city halls, schools, places of worship, parks, and gardens - any place where the spirit of peace is embraced by people of good will.
