| Welcome to our
newest venture, Country Prairie Tables and Benches. This is the kind of
furniture you can pass on down to your children, strong sturdy tables and
benches, with a simple country look. Remember those kitchen tables your
grandparents used to sit around? Each piece is made from 100% reclaimed
lumber, mellowed by aging in an older building. Each table is lovingly
handcrafted in our warehouse, and each will be unique, as no piece of wood
ages excactly the same. Tables will also vary according to the particular
wood that is available at the time of your order. Right now we have a whole
variety of woods, arrived at our warehouse from urban salvage operations,
elm, maple, acacia, euclyptus as well as our old standards of Redwood and
Douglas Fir from our deconstruction activities.
We have several types of tables available, the simple table shown above, a smaller table of a more complex design and a trestle table As each peice can be created especially for you, we can make them smaller, taller, longer, with shelves or with drawers, Our benches also, can be made to suit your specific needs and desires. At this moment we don't have a picture of the trestle table, but I wanted to get this page started so I have published what we have so far. The ultimate recycled product. Here we show our bench which
has been made from the discards from our flooring operations. The top of
the bench has been constructed by laminating several ends from the joists
which we use for flooring. We make a variety of these benches, some with
granite or marble tops. We can also make them in a variety of other wood
from urban salvage projects such as elm, black acacia, eucalyptus etc

Once again we have a prouct made from some discarded lumber from the
flooring activities. This table features fully dowelled joints, not a nail
or screw anywhere. This can also be made in a variety of wood. The top
of the table is usually made from a strikingly beautiful piece of wood,
lovingly selected and polished to shine with the luster of age.
