180. Samuel Ruberts^302,970 was born between 1770 and 1772 in USA, Kentucky.³⁰² Family Search Database has - Birth: Abt 1793 <Liberty, Casey, Ky>
He died on 8 July 1850 at the age of 80 in USA, Kentucky, Casey Co..²⁴⁷ Don Rubarts says in his research, "First mention I have found is the 1796 Mason County, Ky tax list. I believe that he went to Ohio. Samuel is listed on the tax list for Adams County, Ohio. First showed up in Casey county in 1813. He bought 212 acres on the Green River. This land was adjacent to that of John Rubarts. John bought his land while it was Lincoln County, later becoming part of Casey County. Samuel's grandson, Mathias Miller, moved to Texas in 1856. In the book "Biographical Souveneir of Texas" published in 1889, in the writeup for Mathias, it states that Samuel was born in Indiana. Where this came from, I am not sure. Samuel fathered a child out of marriage in Mason Co., KY. He was ordered to pay $10 by the county."

Several Rubart marriages during this period are probably from the same Rubart/Rubert family. Isaac Rubart m. Nancy ??? c1795 (on record found); Martha Rubart m. Wm. McCarty 8 Dec 1799; Samuel Rubart m. Mary McClure 17 Jan 1797; John Rubart m. Sally Cabble [Casey Co. KY 1803]; Ruth Rubart m. John Shehan 28 Jan 1798. Have info on several, but no proof of their relationship to one another.

181. Mary McClure³⁰² was born between 1775 and 1780 in USA, Kentucky. She died after 1840 at the age of 65.

Children were:

Cynthia Ruberts was born about 1798 in USA, Ohio.970 or Ohio 1850 Casey co, Ky census says born in Ohio, age 52 would be born about 1798. 1870 Casey census says age 75, born in Ky. 1880 Casey co, Ky census says born in Ohio, age 86 would be born about 1794. She was living with son William H. and family beginning with the 1870 census..
	ii.	Edmond H. Ruberts302,970 was born about 1796 in USA, Kentucky.247 First shows on Casey tax list in 1817 with one horse valued at $25, last entry on 1833 tax list. In 1823, he operated a store, owned 30 acres. There is an entry on the LDS site saying he was born in 1813 in Lincoln County. This can't be true as he appears here in 1817 as a white male over 21 in 1817.
	iii.	John Ruberts971 was born on 21 July 1797 in USA, Kentucky.971 He died on 30 December 1872 at the age of 75 in USA, Illinois, Warren Co., Greenbush Twp..971 He was also known as John Rubart.971 John was buried in USA, Illinois, Warren Co., Holeman Cemetery. JOHN RUBART. John Rubart was born in Kentucky, July 21, 1797. In his boyhood days he moved with his parents to Ohio ; afterwards moved to Morgan county, Illinois, where he resided for several years. He was married to Miss Phebe Arnold, July 31, 1822. To them were born the following-named children : Ann, Nancy, James F., Enos, Marion, Asenath, and Jacob,— all of whom are deceased. His wife Phebe died January 17, 1845. Mr. Rubart 's second marriage was to Nancy Lahman, which occurred May 24, 1850. She was born October 21, 1827, near Mansfield, Penn. They moved to Greenbush township, Warren county, Illinois, in 1852, where they purchased a farm on sections one and two. To this union were born the following-named children : Phebe J., who married Ancil F. Griffith, in November, 1879. Joseph M., born March 16, 1856 ; married Effie Armstrong, March 18, 1887. Albert E., born December 28, 1861 ; married Nellie L. Lloyd, September 18, 1887. Abram L., married Mary Crowley, July 4, 1893. Benjamin W., born January 17, 1858. John Rubart, the subject of this sketch, was a soldier in the Black Hawk war. His son Marion died in the Union army during the "War of the Rebellion. John Rubart died December 30, 1872. His wife Nancy died April 21, 1902.

	ix.	George W. Ruberts970 was born in 1821 in USA, Kentucky, Lincoln.247 He died in 1899 at the age of 78.302 Don Rubarts states, "His birth & death dates on the LDS site I believe are incorrect. These dates belong to the George W. Rubarts that is buried in the Rubarts/Pelley cemetery and is a son of John & Sarah Rubarts. This George is listed in Samuel's will along with his 3 children.
