1100. Henry SALTUS360 died in 1737.360 Book D-D p58, 11 Aug.1747. Some people are leving a debt on the estate of Henry Saltus, planter. This involves the Perroneaus (our relatives) since they were attorneys. They recovered from Richard Bedon, a judgment, because he was the administrator of Thomas Porter and Elizabeth , his wife, late wife of Henry Saltus. So Elizabeth Barnett md.(1) Henry Saltus and (2) Thomas Porter. She md. (3) Isaac Colcock.

Saltus research notes: There is a listing for Bartholomew: 16 Oct. 1731.Mary and Ann, only daus. and co-heirs of Bartholomew. They are spinsters .They are of the island Bermuda, alias Summer Island. He is the oldest brother of Martha Jones, widow of John Jones. The deed is in Book E-3, page 569, dated 7 Nov. 1765. Deed of Trust Tripartite.

Henry SALTUS and Elizabeth BARNETT were married.

1101. Elizabeth BARNETT360 died in 1767 in USA, South Carolina, Dorchester.360 Thomas Porter And Elizabeth Barnett had ch: Mary and Elizabeth. These girls are half-siblings of Richard, Henry, Jr., and Samuel Saltus. Elizabeth's parents were: George Barnett, Jr. and Elizabeth Glaze. In this Glaze family, and siblings to Elizabeth, were Gabriel, William, Malachi, and Ann. I think the father of these ch. is Gabriel.
Book P-3 pp. 398-405 4 March 1767 Land R. Elizabeth Colcock (formerly Elizabeth Porter, widow) of St. George Par. Dorchester, Berkley Co. to George Evans for 1000 lbs. 300 acres at Beach Hill, St Paul Par. Colleton Co. bounding on Joseph Norman, Joseph Norman, Thomas Porter(decd.). This was witnessed by Mary Saltus.

Elizabeth was Richard Saltus' Mother.
