She died on 19 September 1861 at the age of 74 in USA, Kentucky, Christian Co..883 Her father, James Hawkins, was from the east coast, maybe Maryland. While taking his family down the Ohio River to Kentucky his wife, name unknown, went into labor and gave birth to a daughter on their river raft/boat 2-15-1787. The daughter was appropriately named Lucy Ohio (after the river she was born on) Hawkins. The next item I have is that Lucy was married to James O. Coleman in Franklin County, KY, after 11-12-1806 because that is the date Lucy's dad and her fiance filed a bond for marriage. Lucy and James O. Coleman eventually settled in Christian County, KY, living in Hopkinsville when it was established. Lucy died there 9-19-1861. Her husband James was a cabinet maker.
