1304. John "Seaborn" HASTINGS⁶²² was born about 1637.¹¹⁷⁸ He was baptized in Massachusetts, Braintree.¹¹⁷⁸ John was given the name "Seaborn" because it is thought he was born on the journey to New England. His baptism record is in Braintree, Mass. John worked as a tanner in Cambridge, probably with his father and brother Walter. He signed the 1664 loyality petition along with his brothers Walter and Samuel. John "Seaborn" HASTINGS and Lydia CHAMPNEY were married on 20 May 1668.¹¹⁷⁹

1305. Lydia CHAMPNEY⁶²² was born in 1643.¹¹⁷⁹ She died on 23 Jan 1691.¹¹⁷⁹ Children were:

	iv.	Elizabeth HASTINGS was born on 11 Apr 1675.1178 She signed a will on 14 May 1727.1178 She died in May 1727.1178 Elizabeth never married. Her will mentions a brother John, sister Allen, brother Daniel of Sudbury, and a cousin Walter, son of her brother Daniel.
	v.	Daniel HASTINGS was born on 3 Feb 1677 in Massachusetts.1178 He died on 23 Jan 1755 in Massachusetts, Hardwick.1178
