2090. Resolved (William) White^215,1731 was born about 1615 in Holland, Leyden (Pilgrim congregation) ?.¹⁷³¹ Born in 1615 in England or Holland. He died after 1687 at the age of 72.^1732,1733 It is claimed that Resolved was born and named at the time the Pilgrims made their "resolve" to seek a new home in America. He was 5 years old in 1620 when he sailed on the Mayflower with his parents. Since his father died the first winter, he was raised by step-father Edward Winslow whom his mother married in 1621.
His family moved to Marshfield in the 1630's, and later moved to Scituate. In 1638 William appears in Scituate records when lands are laid out a half mile south of the harbor for him. Here in Scituate, 26 year old Resolved married 21 yr old Judith Vassall on 5 Nov 1640. That same year he was granted 100 acres upland and marsh next to his father-in-law William Vassell's farm on Belle House Neck. William Vassal gave more adjoining land to him in 1646 by deed or gift. Resolved and Judith Vassell White had eight children by 1656.
They travelled to St. Michael's, Barbadoes in 1657 at the death of her father, William Vassal, for the settlement of his estate. In 1662 Resolved sold his house to Lt. Isaac Buck and moved to Marshfield where he settled next to his brother Peregrine. He and Judith lived there until her death in 1670.
Resolved then remarried to the widowed Abigail Lord in 1674 in Salem. He is listed as a soldier in King Philip's War of 1676, and became a freeman in Salem in 1680 before moving back to Marshfield a couple years later. He died sometime not too long after 1687, presumably in Marshfield.

Judith Vassall^215,1735 was born about 1619 in England.¹⁷³² She was baptized on 14 May 1637 in Massachusetts Colony, Plymouth Co., Scituate.¹⁷³² She died before 3 April 1670 at the age of 51 in Massachusetts Bay Colony, Marshfield.¹⁷³³ Judith was buried on 3 April 1670 in Massachusetts Bay Colony, Marshfield.^1732,1733 Judith and her husband Resolved White were both in Barbados at the settlement of her father's estate. Samuel White^{1553,1555,1731} was born on 13 March 1646 in Massachusetts Colony, Plymouth Co., Scituate.^1530,1554 He died in 1720 at the age of 74. ca 1668 when Samuel was 21, he married Rebecca [White]. They had nine children. Rebecca died on 25 Jun 1711 in Rochester, MA.

Resolved White Jr¹⁵⁵⁵ was born on 12 November 1647 in Massachusetts Colony, Plymouth Co., Scituate.^1530,1554 He died in March 1670 at the age of 22. He was buried on 27 March 1670 in USA, Massachusetts, Plymouth Co., Marshfield.¹⁵⁵³ Resolved Jr. never married.

Anna White^1553,1555 was born on 4 June 1649 in Massachusetts Colony, Plymouth Co., Scituate.^1530,1554 She died on 25 May 1714 at the age of 64 in USA, Massachusetts, Middlesex Co., Concord.^1553,1731 On 2 Jun 1671 when Anna was 21, she married John Hayward, son of George Hayward & Mary [Hayward], in Concord, MA. Born on 20 Dec 1640 in Concord, MA. John died in Concord on 22 Nov 1718; he was 77.

Born ca 1657. Remember was baptized in Salem, MA on 26 Apr 1657. Remember died aft 20 May 1721; she was 64.
